The crew of the Hungaricums Around the World visited China during the shooting of the first season. Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park, crossed by the river Li, is one of the most beautiful sights of Gulin. Guilin is one of China’s most important tourist destinations. Few people know it in Hungary, but in the park of Guilin we can meet one of the most beautiful sights of our capital, Budapest, which is none other than the Chain Bridge. The mayor of Guilin is said to be so in love with the Budapest Chain Bridge that he has built a scaled-down copy of it in the middle of the Li River.
The city of Guilin is not only connected to Hungary at this point. In 2012, the central district of the city called the Hi-Tech Zone concluded a twin-city agreement with the municipality of Hévíz.
